This privacy notice applies to the processing and storage of personal data voluntarily provided by registrants in connection with works submitted to the 45th Hungarian Film Review. Data processing begins upon submission of the entry form and is carried out under the conditions set forth in this notice.

II. Scope of Processed Data
The data controller processes the data provided on the 45th Hungarian Film Review entry form, in particular the following:
- title and length of the film,
- name of the production company,
- names of the producer, director, writer, cinematographer, editor, composer, production designer, costume designer, sound engineer, and lead actors,
- name, postal address, e-mail address, and phone number of the contact person,
- date of submission.
These data include personal information, which the data controller processes in connection with the organization of the Film Review.
III. Purpose of Data Processing
- to manage and administer the entry process,
- to register and process the submitted works,
- to compile the competition program,
- to create the public online catalog of the Film Review,
- to maintain contact with entrants and creators.
IV. Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for data processing is the voluntary and explicit consent of the data subject, pursuant to Article 6 (1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, which is granted by completing and submitting the entry form.
V. Duration of Data Processing
The data will be retained by the data controller until the withdrawal of consent, but for no longer than 5 years after the conclusion of the 45th Hungarian Film Review, for archiving and administrative purposes.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting iroda@mfszemle.hu, which will result in the deletion of the data following the withdrawal.
VI. Persons Authorized to Access the Data
Only the employees of the data controller and persons involved in organizing the Film Review under confidentiality obligations may access the submitted data.
For films selected for the competition program, the creators’ data listed on the entry form will be published in the public online catalog of the Film Review.
VII. Data Transfer and Data Processing
The data controller does not use external data processors for handling the submitted data and does not transfer personal data to third parties.
If the involvement of a data processor becomes necessary during processing, the data controller will inform the data subjects in advance.
VIII. Rights of Data Subjects
During data processing, the data subject may exercise the following rights:
- request information about the processing of their personal data,
- request access to, rectification, or deletion of their data,
- request restriction of data processing,
- object to data processing,
- request data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time.
The data controller will respond to requests without undue delay, but no later than within 30 days, in writing.
IX. Remedies and Complaints
If the data subject believes that the processing of their personal data violates applicable data protection laws, they may file a complaint with the following authority:

X. Data Security
The data controller ensures the proper security of personal data, protecting them in particular against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, deletion, or destruction.
The data controller applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
