At the end of 2016, Szandra and László’s two children were placed in specialized care by the guardianship office based on the family caregiver’s report. Their third child, born in 2017, was not even allowed to go home. The camera followed their harrowing fate for eight years, but their struggle with child protection is still ongoing. The film presents the parental side of the child protection system, and is also a disheartening sociological finding.
