A woman lives alone in a house in the middle of the sea, making a little girl out of her own hair. One day, a ship appears, attracting the child’s attention and upsetting the harmony. Out of jealousy and envy, the woman resorts to means to increasingly restrict the girl’s life, the more she is attracted to the outside world.
