Nina (Villő Demeter) is only 12 years old, but she already knows she wants to be a writer—a famous one, at that! The only problem is that her younger brother (Bonca Hárs) is bored to tears by her nightly stories, which she recites by heart. Nina turns to the famous writer (Kati Zsurzs) who lives next door for guidance. Meanwhile, her father (László Mátray), after a long period of mourning, finds love again (Vivien Rujder). This is when Nina’s real story begins. She starts searching for memories of her late mother (Rozi Lovas), and soon finds herself living a life full of twists and turns, much like a book, where every friend and family member plays a role. Will the power of writing help her process the losses and open her heart to a new family member and her first love (Barnabás Kövécs)?
