The experimental short film is based on a VHS recording of a quarreling couple, which was destroyed due to the medial characteristics of the video and due to overuse. The film explores the influence of the image and the story on each other by juxtaposing the gradual loss of quality of the video recorded on the magnetic tape and the conflict depicted in the story – the quarrel of the couple. The film not only strives to create a unity of form and content, but also uses the physical and aesthetic degradation of the video material as a means of deconstructing the narrative.
