The film shows the life of the monks of the Pannonhalmi Benedictine Monastery full of suffering and trials under the communist dictatorship, how they maintained their school despite the constant controls of the State Security Services, arrests and complete isolation and managed to build a secret relationship with the Vatican and pass on the hope of Easter to the for young people.
