Fanni kertje
documentary film | 83 min.
Close to Budapest, on the edge of the forest, there is a hut hidden in which two creatures who have escaped from society, almost from a fairy tale, live their daily lives. One of them is Fanni, a 19-year-old trans teenager ostracized from her family, and the other is Laci, a tough, former factory worker. The two interdependent people try to create a family and a home in a kind of father-daughter relationship, they fight against the circumstances together. The intimate film offers a glimpse into an unknown world, while telling about the importance of human relationships and unconditional acceptance through a strange coming-of-age story.
