Annelise, a successful German painter, revisits the scene of her last happy summer as a child. She is welcomed by her childhood friend Péter and his family in the house at Lake Balaton. She hopes to find some support from the days spent with them, but finds a dysfunctional family.
Between old feelings for her friend, friction with her wife, and a sincere encounter with their teenage daughter, Annelise searches for the answers she needs to move on.
