A young widow hiding her past arrives in a new village community and becomes a maid in a sinister mansion, but in addition to being harassed by the Count, she is also haunted by a female figure who returns as a ghost in her home – but as nightmares and reality blur, it becomes clear that she must realize that her greatest enemy is herself.
