The Thing in the Coffin is an experimental horror film made entirely from old vampire films, including 35mm and Super 8 adaptations of Dracula. The filmmakers have transformed the footage with film rust, paint, glitch and digital distortion. The resulting abstract image stream is a sensual, gothic and haunting reinterpretation of Bram Stoker’s classic novel.
