About the film
A documentary rich in animated elements about the legendary Új Zenei Stúdió, a group of composers and performers founded in 1970. In Éva M Tóth’s film, members of the ÚZS, as well as colleagues and students, recall the 20-year history of the ensemble’s operation and praise its role in Hungarian music. Recently deceased personalities such as Péter Eötvös, Zoltán Jeney, Zoltán Kocsis or András Wilheim speak, and among the contemporary interviewees we can see and hear György Kurtág, who is 98 years old this year, and László Vidovszky, who is 80 years old…
