Windchime follows the relationship between a mother and her transgender child, where two internal monologues running side by side form a shared “dialogue” in the therapeutic space. The story explores the possibility of unconditional love, the layers of maternal guilt, and the consequences of a lack of family support, while touching on the fragile inner balance of life and death.
