The work titled Many in Silence is an experimental video animation that shows in a non-figurative and abstract way how various fears and anxieties suppress logical thinking. How we get caught in a negative thought spiral from which we have no chance of breaking out. These emotions appear in different animated forms. The sound of the work was made by distorting our own voices, thus emphasizing the feeling that a person’s deepest conflicts often stem from their own thoughts and are therefore the noisiest.
