Fecó can see, his parents are blind. A dramatic family portrait spanning 19 years. This is the third part of the trilogy. Prior to this, the episodes of Fecó’s fate are immortalized in two of my films, THE LIGHT OF OUR EYES (2004) and THE EYES OF SZÜLEI (2015). From Fecó’s birth until he was one and a half years old, in the first part, we encounter the dilemmas surrounding the adoption of children by blind parents, where in the end he triumphs over the difficulties he faced. The second part is filled by the expressive meaning of the 4-5 and 10-11 year old Fecó and the new and new life situations associated with the blindness of his parents. We can be faced with a childish attitude capable of solving difficulties, and adult thoughts that are completely different from those of precocious and contemporaries. In the third part, when Fecó is 17-18-19 years old, the fact that his parents cannot see him recedes into the background. Now we see a parent-child relationship, and the point here is less that he is the child of blind parents. Fecó’s sensitive personality is full of mental problems, where the excessive compulsion to conform creates barriers and repressed emotions.
