The experimental film Aporia was created from the lyrical world of folk ballads. Like all ballads, the story offers many possibilities of interpretation, it does not think in reality: it can be interpreted as a simple coming-of-age story, where the protagonist’s search for a path and inner transformation are in focus. At the same time, the folk and contemporary world systems offer other interpretation possibilities. (Aporia = “pathless”)
