Árni
feature film | 100 min
Arni, who has bird-like features, works as a jack-of-all-trades for a rundown traveling circus touring the countryside. The troupe is made up of a single family, with Arni being the only outsider. The boy lives his days in a monotonous routine, with almost monastic simplicity: he takes care of the circus animals and carries out the tasks entrusted to him by the family. One day, a new python arrives at the circus. The animal piques Arni’s curiosity, and as he begins to tame it, the process starts to have an increasingly profound effect on him.
