The three good friends who yearn for the West, Ákos, Laci and Petya, discover that MÁV tickets are filled out by hand, using blue Pelikan indigo – in an apartment in a downtown Budapest apartment building, chemical experiments begin so that they can go on holiday with fake train tickets… László Csáki first his full-length animated film, The Blue Pelikan, is a real nostalgia trip, with lots of humor and so contemporary with the help of music, it recalls real events, such as Induljon a banzaj! from Bonanza Banzai, Lidocain from Hiperkarma or the Húsrágó bridgehead from Kispál and Borz.
