The 45th Hungarian Film Review invites submissions for its Competition categories, as well as for the non-competitive Panorama and Information sections, from Hungarian films and co-productions with Hungarian participation that were produced or released after January 1, 2024.
Submission categories:
- játékfilm (70 percnél hosszabb alkotás)
- rövidfilm (max. 30 perc hosszú alkotás)
- kísérleti film (műfaji és technikai megkötés nélkül)
- dokumentumfilm (70 percnél hosszabb alkotás)
- rövid dokumentumfilm, dokumentumfilm sorozat egy epizódja (70 percnél rövidebb alkotás)
- népszerű tudományos és portréfilmek (perc megkötés nélkül)
- animációs rövidfilm (70 percnél rövidebb alkotás)
- animációs sorozat (egy epizódjával)
- TV sorozat (egy epizódjával, perc megkötés nélkül)
- videóklip
The pre-selection juries of the Film Review select, in each category, the films that will compete in the Competition program.
The pre-selection juries are also responsible for selecting the works to be presented in the Information and Panorama sections.
To enter, the following requirements must be met:
- The online application form must be completed.
- The Film Week regulations must be accepted.
- The application form must include a screening link to the film.
Submission deadline: December 7, 2025, at 24:00.
There is no entry fee.
The Film Review does not pay any rental fees for films selected for the Competition or for the non-competitive Information and Panorama sections.
During the Film Review, all films and film blocks can be viewed at Corvin Cinema for a uniform ticket price of 1,000 HUF.
Film Week dates: February 2–8, 2026.
