Eötvös Expedíció
short documentary film | 26 min.
Lóránd Eötvös, our famous physicist, was not only recognized for his scientific work, but he was also one of the best rock climbers of his time. His two daughters followed his example. Júlia and Rolanda became such excellent climbers that they conquered new rock faces with their favorite mountain guides. We recall their adventures by going 120 years later, wearing period clothing and equipment, to their favorite place in the Dolomites of Northern Italy, to experience and show what the dawn of rock climbing was like.
